Services
Based in the North West, Wigan, David Dean Decorating is a well-established business specialising in all aspects of painting and decorating services - domestic, commercial, interior, exterior and fine finish spray application.
Airless Spray Application
Paint is sprayed at high velocities and atomised with the addition of a concentrated airflow to create a seem-less factory finish result. There are many advantages of spray application i.e. 50% overlap on application resulting in 2 coats in one spray therefore when sprayed twice this will result in a four-coat finish. Ideal for covering large, tricky and high volume areas and quick turnaround on projects with no compromise on quality.
Interior Works
Correct procedure followed where necessary i.e. Dust free sanding, new plaster spay mist-coat followed by 2-3 additional topcoats. Woodwork preparation i.e.Cleaning, knotting, caulking, filling, priming, undercoat and topcoat. Thorough preparation to surfaces prior to painting, spraying and full decoration. Careful covering/ masking throughout works to ensure best finish to minimise mess and disruption. Hand painted or sprayed kitchens units and furniture. We offer Traditional Painting & Decorating using fine finish paints
Exterior Work
Restoration - oak windows stripped back to bare oak and re-coated with correct products. Masonry, pebble-dash, brick and stone. Paint stripping, rotten defective wood repairs using Repair Care epoxy resin systems. Primed followed by appropriate topcoats. Top quality exterior paints used. Oak and Cedar cladding, decking and patios - correct UV- protection Oil used.
Commercial Work
Factories, bars, restaurants, schools and offices. Bespoke decorative techniques to suit customer requirements & designs. Correct products used for insurance purposes i.e. intumescent paints. Working alongside property owners, agencies and management companies for ongoing maintenance. Quick turnaround on projects with no compromise on quality! Ceiling void, soffit and cladding spraying.
Wallpapering
Thorough preparation to surfaces - cross lining before hanging the final wallpaper. We are specialist at hanging domestic & commercial wallpapers. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the finest and seem-less wallpapering finish.
